Playing Catch Up

So after a long hiatus, I feel like we have so much to talk about and I don't even know where to begin. We FINALLY got our computer fixed!! Hopefully this is the last time!! Julia has grown so much from even the last blog post at the end of January, although I guess that was about 2 months ago now!

So the big story was, of course, all of the snow that we got this winter. We got so many snow storms that I can't even begin to differentiate between them. All I know is that I was ready to go back to work after the MANY days we had off! The first snow storm was cool because we knew we were getting lots of snow and it was something we don't often see. So it was exciting to get all of that snow. Then the second one came and it was still exciting, but we really didn't know what to do with all of it! Then by the 3rd time it snowed, we were saying alright already! Andy had to work for many of the days that I had off of school, so Julia and I were having some serious cabin fever!! And there was so much snow that you really couldn't even play in it because we were afraid we would lose Julia in it!!

That didn't stop us from grilling out though!! We managed to get to Uncle Ben and Uncle Louie's house at some point and of course Andy had to fire up the grill!!

And here is a picture of the lake in front of our house. It really was a beautiful sight to see all of the snow. However, pushing out our neighbor kid whose car kept getting stuck did get annoying after several times of having to help him!!



Julia was taking lessons from her daddy on how to be "cool"! She is such a little sponge. She wants to do everything and say everything that you do. She really is quite smart and is becoming quite the negotiator. Her new favorite thing is The Jungle Book. She wants to watch it all of the time. If she can't watch it, she wants to hold and play with the case. Then she asks over and over again who all of the characters are on the case. She loves listening to music as well. Andy got an Ipod for his birthday and he bought the sounddock, so we have it in our kitchen and we listen to it quite frequently. She has been known to start dancing and say "good song". I think she learned that from her daddy. Andy was all excited one day because she could sing the theme song from Caddyshack (I'm alright).We just celebrated Easter with my family and will be celebrating with Andy's family this weekend. Here is Julia with her cousins and Grandmom and Poppy after their Easter Egg Hunt. She had a good time doing that. She would pick up an egg, shake it and then pull the candy out and leave the egg on the ground. She was no fool! She knew what to do!

I know that I have forgotten plenty of things, but hopefully this has brought many of you back up to speed! And here is one last picture from a while ago, but I just love this face!!
