Moving Right Along

Julia continues to crawl right along like it is her job!! She is pulling herself up like it is nothing and she has even started letting go of things and standing on her own. We have seen her do it a few times, but it seemed more like an accident and she didn't even realize she was doing it. I got to spend an enjoyable evening with her tonight, and she did it several times. Only tonight, she seemed to know what she was doing. She was standing at the coffee table and she would just pick her hands up and put them in the air. If she could talk, she would say, "Look Ma, no hands!!" I wasn't able to get a picture of her doing it, but I will work on getting a picture that we can post.
Everyone is still doing well, we have just been extremely busy with work, especially Andy and his night meetings. He assures me that they will slow down after next week, so we will see! Although we did get to go out to a nice dinner last night, so that was a treat!!

The other news to report is that Julia and Andy won!! The other day Julia was playing in the living room and Andy was in the living room playing video games. I left the room to do something and I came back and Julia was by the entertainment center with one of my Willowtree statues in hand!! I yelled Julia and ranned towards her and Andy jumped up off of the couch and by the time either of us could get to her, she dropped it! Sure enough, the little kids head popped right off!! Andy said, "She decapitated herself!!" So, of course, I say, "this never would have happened if you would have been paying attention to her!" and Andy says, "this never would have happened if you would have just moved them to a higher shelf!" Unfortunately, Andy was right. That's right, you heard it here first!! Andy was right!! Luckily for Julia though, I was able to glue the head back on and no one will ever know! (Except for you guys!!) I also told Julia that since she broke one of mommy's toys, that I was going to break one of her toys!! Of course I didn't, but that would be a hard decision!! I would definitely break one that makes noise....probably the steering wheel one that her Auntie Liz got her to annoy mommy and daddy!!!

Here are Julia and Mommy playing in the kitchen floor!
