Major Milestones

Not long ago if you were to tell me that not crying through a bath or sleeping from 10:30 to 4:30 a.m. would be major achievements, I would probably have looked at you like you had seven heads. But today I view these as significant milestones.

When you are waking up to feed every 4-5 hours, you tend to condition yourself and actually sometimes you wake up just before baby wakes you up. Well last night I woke up at 2 a.m.. With Julia due to eat at 2:30 - 3ish, I decided to try to doze for a bit before she started stirring. I did just that, but the only thing was that she didn't wake up until 4:30!!!

That's right....daddy's girl slept for 6 hours at night!!! Court and I were high fiving in bed when we realized what had just happened! Hopefully we are on the verge of something really good here and not just a happy accident!

Tonight was bath night and along with getting squeaky clean, it seems that Julia had a demeanor shift. Instead of crying through her bath, probably because she just wasn't sure what was happening, she just sat there and really seemed to enjoy it. Now she did pee in the bathwater, but that's normal. But she was just chillin' through the whole thing.

We are thinking that we are on the verge of things getting really fun with her! Here are a couple of post-bath pics of Julia and Momma.
