Today is the first day of high school practices for Courtney, so Julia and I get to spend the day together. Things are just starting to become really fun for me. To this point, I've been pretty afraid that I would hurt or break her. But now she's becoming bigger and tougher. She holds her head up really well and is even developing a personality.
I was feeding her this morning while watching Sports Center and the highlights for another Yankee loss came on. Good Ol' Mariano Rivera lost the game on a wild pitch. Well I bark out some kind of derogatory phrase at the TV and I look down at Julia and she is just smiling and laughing! The heck with the bottle, she thought it was downright funny listening to Daddy ripping the Yankees!
Mom should be home in a bit and I have lots to do before Julia gets up from her nap. I have a good post coming about our trip up north. I'll leave you with a preview of the title..."Luke, Ben, Julia, Rock Band and Orthopaedics!"
