I must say though, I am SO proud of Courtney through this so far. She's not complained about anything, not had any morning sickness, no heartburn and is in fact as close to living an unaffected life as might be possible. At this point, if it weren't for this bulge developing, we would have no reason to think that she's pregnant!
Now from what I understand, this is highly unusual, so we are not counting our blessings. We're just grateful. Also, for all we know, the next 2 1/2 to 3 months could be miserable and you need look no farther than Liz's Blog to see just how challenging it could be! By the way, if you haven't had the priveledge of seeing how Liz (my sister) painted her stomach like a basketball, it's worth checking out!
The background on this picture is one of about six areas in our house where we have been stockpiling baby stuff until the nursery is done. We've even gotten some great hand-me-downs from Courtney's sisters and truly lucky to have such generous friends and family! Thank you all again!!!
Now, speaking of the nursery...I better get to work!

Yes...wait until child number 2 comes along and all you want is the insanity to stop....First time was great for me too! :-)
Time to get that growth checked out--"The doctor said it was the size of a grapefruit or perhaps a small child."
Like Liz and Nate said--try having 2. Unlike Liz and Nate, try having 2 at once.
You're doing great--keep it up!
