Making Progress!!

So today was a big day in the progress of the nursery. As I'm writing this, Andy is taking off the last of the wallpaper in the super secret room. He changed out the light fixture in that room and we even went to Home Depot and bought the paint for the room!!! Big Day...I know!!!

So we know Virginia (the former owner of the house) liked wacky things. For example, the only room in the house with carpet is the kitchen, the kitchen cabinets were hot pink when we moved in and almost every room is outfitted in wallpaper. We never really questioned her wackiness, we just accepted it...until now!! She has led us to ask ourselves, "Who wallpapers the ceiling, honestly?!?!" No joke, the super secret room had wallpaper not just from floor to ceiling, but from floor to ceiling and back to the floor!!! This made removing it interesting for Andy. But he did it!

So the plan is to get the primer up, probably tomorrow and then start painting after that!! I don't know what I'm going to write about once the nursery is done!!! I'll have to find something else to nag Andy about....just to keep our blog readers happy!
