OK, so way back when (before Christmas) we got some snow. We got a few inches (maybe 4...if I'm being generous) on Sunday (I think) which caused schools to be closed for the Monday and Tuesday before we were supposed to get out for Christmas break. (By 'we' I clearly mean me and all of my other Wicomico County Board of Ed friends...not Andy!) So we hunkered down (under the 4 inches of snow) and enjoyed my extra days off!!
Of course, we took Julia out to play in the snow! She seemed to be quite skeptical and wasn't real sure if she should laugh or cry! We tried to make snow balls to throw at Daddy, but the snow was too powdery and wasn't good for making snowballs. Although Julia didn't have a snowsuit (we figured if we bought a snow suit, it would never snow and then she would out grow it!) Aunt Carrie did come in handy with the snow boots she handed down to us. Aunt Mickee and Aunt Carrie have saved us many times with their hand-me-downs.
Although our play time in the snow was brief, we did get a few good pictures of Julia...and Daddy making a snow angel!! Once her mittens fell off, she kinda lost interest! So enjoy the pictures and hopefully we will have a post of both Christmases up soon!
