Didn't mean to get so sensitive. I assure everyone that it was just a short state of mind and it has passed. It's just that even though there were lots of funny moments that took place, they really didn't stick with me.
I would however like the record to show that:
- I did manage to get Courtney to laugh DURING a contraction, BEFORE the drugs!
- Julia was born with Emeril Live on TV (insert your own "BAM" joke here)
- Courtney did actually say about one contractions, and I quote "these aren't so bad"...then they upped the dose of Petocin and she re-defined the term jinx.
- After she asked for her epidural, there happened to be an emergency. She then spent the next hour making up new cuss words for that bleepin' anesthesiologist!
- In my next life, I hope to become a "Lactation Consultant". No man (including the esteemed Mr. Hefner) could ever be lucky enough to see and touch that many breasts in one day.

Why would you apologize for such a tremendous tribute to your wife and your new baby girl. It was very touching and made me cry. You are going to make such a great Mommy and Daddy .. isn't it the most wonderful feeling in the world??? The pictures are awesome. Julia looks sooooo sweet in the picture of her sleeping in the green blanket and then the one with her sleeping on Courtney's belly. There is nothing better than that .. I miss it ..

Congratulations! Kelly and I are really happy for you guys. Seth and Kevin would be, too, but they are too busy pooping.
I can relate to that emotional roller coaster thing. We induced and then Kelly's uterus wouldn't cooperate, so we had to do a C-section THE NEXT DAY. So we had a nice 24-hour stay at Hotel PRMC courtesy of BC/BS before junior was even born.
Wisk, I'm ashamed of you, comparing Julia's size to that of a football. Being an Eagles fan, I know your first inclination is to drop football-sized objects onto the turf, where a waiting Redskins or Cowboy will scoop it up and run it into the endzone, and spike it. So for God's sake, don't drop her.
