For the record....

Thad was far too generous on his prediction of Andy going 3 weeks without beer. He went 2 days!! If only his basketball game hadn't gotten rained out! We had not planned on going out all week (even skipping burger night because of his game). Turns out he didn't have his game and spent the evening working on the nursery. So when we got that weekly phone call from Ben, our loyal burger nighter, asking us if we were going, Andy was all about it since he didn't feel like fixing dinner after sanding all evening. So I so kindly reminded Andy of his committment to not drink during the week as we were leaving for the Greene Turtle. At this point, he responded with "Well Burger Night doesn't count!" So continuing my theory that Andy doesn't realize restaurants serve drinks other than beer, he had to give his mug some Bud Select love. Now the funny thing is that our favorite waitress, Talor, told Andy last week that the bartenders, in their laziness, pour a pitcher of a certain kind of beer and put it near where the waitresses pick up the drinks so that they don't have to walk all the way to the Bud Select tap to refill his mug (which is a lot when Andy is there!!!). So now Andy thinks he is slick and can tell when he gets a beer other than Bud Select, when really, the Greene Turtle employees are just messing with his head!!

So as I suspected, Andy's streak of not drinking didn't last that long. Even the "Fat Man Club" couldn't keep him from his beer!! So I guess we can blame his whole demise on the fact that parents are paying for their kids to go to school, yet they can't fix their roof so that it doesn't leak when it rains!!
